My son is 2 years and 4 months. He is a happy little boy who loves to play, joke and have fun. But, he has no words. Well, I shouldn't say that he doesn't have any, but he only has a few. The only two true words he has are "mom" and "dad". Now, he has other words, but none of them sound correct. We are getting pretty close to the word "no", but it usually sounds like "nah".
I have a few other blogs, but I thought it was time to find an avenue to express the feelings I have as a mom of a late talker. It breaks my heart because I know he wants to share stories, but he can't find the words.
I hope you'll share in my journey.

Hey, it's Sheryl again. I just wanted to tell you that my middle daughter, CJ, was a late talker too. She mostly sounded like gibber jabber for the longest time. The one day when she was almost three, she started making sense with her words. She is nine now and still has a hard time putting her words together. She attended speech therapy, but I don't think it helped much. She just seems to be frustrated. Good luck with your little one.
Sheryl
